How long does it take to complete a typical apprenticeship in the hotel trade?
The apprenticeship to become a hotel specialist lasts three years. With the Abitur (general qualification for university entrance) or a very good vocational school certificate and the approval of the company and the school, the apprenticeship can be shortened by half a year.
Where is the vocational school, and how is school attendance regulated?
The school is the Rothenburg municipal vocational school (Bezoldweg 31, 91541 Rothenburg o.d.T.)
Is there a partnership with a specifice university?
From October 2022 on we would like to become a practice partner and cooperate with the Ravensburg University of Cooperative Education.

What degree is granted after three years?
Bachelor of Arts (BA). In addition, the trainer aptitude test can be taken within those three years.
